As president and chief operating officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Adam Goldstein is responsible for working on the company’s strategic direction. It is a job he performs in collaboration with Chairman and CEO Richard Fain. Goldstein currently oversees Human Resources, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Corporate Communications, Safety and Environment, Government Relations, Guest Port Operations and Commercial Development. Previously, he served as president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International and has served in positions with similar responsibilities since 2002. Goldstein began his career with the company in 1988.
In 2001, Goldstein served as the national chairman of the Travel Industry Association, now known as the U.S. Travel Association. During that year, he was inducted into the Travel Industry Hall of Leaders.
Goldstein holds a law degree from Harvard University and earned an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, the European business school in Fontainebleau, France. He graduated with honors from Princeton University.
